What is neurological rehabilitation?

Neurological rehabilitation (also called neurological physiotherapy) is physiotherapy for conditions involving the nervous system. The focus is on what you need in daily life—moving, walking, balance, and doing activities as independently as possible.

Conditions we often treat

In our clinic, we treat patients with the following (most common) conditions:

  • Brain tumour
  • Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA – more commonly known as a stroke)
  • Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease
  • Dementia
  • Parkinson’s Disease (PD)

My father had to rehabilitate after a brain haemorrhage. He could no longer do many daily activities. Natascha has helped me and my father a lot! Nowadays I can finally walk outside with my father again and he has become a lot more independent!
